Winter in Westfjords
is something special.
Each day it can look otherwise depent different weather.
The temperature is changing between -4° and +4° C. That means as the weather changed from frost to melting time, from raining to snow coming.
From February the sun shines longer. It is very beautiful to be on the mountaions for walking or skiing. Most of Ísafjörður people practice ski.
Around eastern here it is very bright on sunny days. At that that time our ski week take place with a lot of events in town and on the slopes. It attract many people to visit Ísafjörður and also t
he rock festival Aldrei fór ég suður. In Englsih Never I went to the south (south means the capitol area).
